Biography

Shao Ying is affiliated with the Department of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, First Hospital of Jilin University, and holds the titles of Deputy Director, Chief Physician, Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor. In recent years, Shao has undertaken 8 research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Jilin Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Jilin Provincial Department of Health, Jilin Provincial Department of Finance, and Jilin University; has published 54 articles in total, including 19 SCI-indexed articles; and has participated in 2 invention patents. Shao has been a Visiting Scholar at Seoul St. Mary's Hospital, South Korea, and at NYU Medical Center, Stanford University Medical Center, and Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, USA.

Specializes in comprehensive oculoplastic surgery, rhinoplasty, and facial rejuvenation surgery, and has extensive clinical experience in breast plastic surgery and fat grafting. Shao has also made outstanding achievements in wound repair and scar revision. Shao is dedicated to stem cell research on skin aging and wound repair, as well as the application of novel biomaterials in plastic and aesthetic surgery.
